The Tierco Clinical Masterclass brings together Seating Matters, A1 Momentum and Posicare by Seating Matters for a practical, clinically focused day designed to support healthcare professionals in delivering more effective care across the full 24 hours.
At the heart of the masterclass is 24-Hour Postural Care, exploring how positioning, movement, seating, bathing and supported lying should work together rather than being considered in isolation.
Throughout the day, our clinical team will explore the principles that underpin good practice, from understanding the basics of good sitting and completing effective seating assessments to assessing mobile shower commode chairs safely in practice.
We will also consider some of the more complex challenges clinicians encounter, including the management of spasticity, dementia and diverse moving and handling needs, alongside approaches to supported lying and nighttime positioning.
The masterclass will look beyond theory to consider how current guidance can be translated into everyday practice, including implementing optimal handed care while balancing safety, dignity, independence and the needs of caregivers.
